NSSDC SUMMER CAMP 2010

The NSSDC Summer Soccer Camp is a fun based program that use’s recreational soccer games as a tool to teach players the basic fundamentals of soccer.

Goals and Objective

The main purpose of the summer camp program is to:

  • Create a fun, positive soccer learning environment for all children
  • Develop a passion for the sport of soccer within children
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle so children become Active for Life
Below is a list of the different programs we offer:

U6-U7 Soccer Camp

This program runs for 2hrs each day and is designed to teach the fundamental techniques and basic motor skills through fun games and exercises.

U8-U14 Soccer Camp

This is our most popular program which runs for 3hrs each day and is designed to teach the basic skills of soccer through progressive recreational games.

Soccer Swim Camp

This program is an all day camp open to all age groups. In the morning the children take part in a 3hr soccer camp (see above) and in the afternoon cool down by spending time at the pool under the supervision of the NSSDC Staff coaches.

High Performance Team or Individual Training

Teams or individuals can register to have a professional coach work with them over the course of five days. This camp runs for 2 hrs each day and focuses on technical, tactical and physical aspects of the game in preparation for the new season.

Striker and Goalkeeper Camp

This program runs for 1.5hrs each day and is designed to work with players on the most effective training practices for youth goalkeepers and strikers.

Speed and Agility Camp

This program runs for 2hrs each day and is designed to develop players Co-ordination, speed and agility through the use of progressive drills and games.
